From time to time, you may need to cancel a booking on behalf of a guest.
Things to know
- Cancelling a booking cannot be reversed or reactivated. You'll need to create a new booking.
- If payment has been made, then a refund may need to be processed. Cancelling a booking does not automatically refund a guest.
- To cancel the booking in POS, you need to refund all of the booking items.
- If you wish to cancel a booking without refunding all of the booking items, then the cancellation must be done via Venue Manager.
Find your booking
Search for and select the guest's booking either by typing in their Name or Booking ID.
Cancel the booking
Select the options menu (3 dots) in the top right, then select Cancel booking.
A pop-up asks you to Confirm this as this cannot be undone. You can press Cancel if you're not sure.
The status is changed to Cancelled and the booking will be marked as Not Reserved, making the tickets available for sale again.
