From time to time, you may need to cancel a booking on behalf of a guest.
The role permission Can cancel bookings is required to cancel bookings in Venue Manager. This role permission is enabled by default for Administrator and Manager roles.
Find your booking
In the search bar look for the guest's booking either by typing in their Name or Booking ID. Select the correct booking from the dropdown menu.
Cancel the Booking
Click the three dots to expand the drop down menu in the top right hand corner and select Cancel booking.
A pop up modal will ask you to Confirm this as this cannot be undone. You can press Cancel if you're not sure.
The status will changed to Cancelled and the Inventory will be marked as Not Reserved, making the tickets available for sale again.
- Cancelling a booking cannot be reversed
- If payment has been made then a refund may need to be processed. Cancelling a booking does not automatically refund a guest
- To cancel the booking in POS you will need to refund all of the booking items.
- If you wish to cancel a booking without refunding all of the booking items, then the cancellation must be done via the Venue Manager.
