This article will show you how to restrict sales of standard pass products by closing off and reopening sales for a particular day.
This functionality is specifically designed to restrict sales of standard pass products. To close off sales for a session pass product, please use the block out capacity functionality instead.
Closing off sales
- From Venue Manager, click Bookings > Calendar.
- Click on the three-dot button on the top right corner of the page and select Close off or re-open day. A pop-up modal will appear.
- Select the Date you would like to close off sales. Note that you can only select a single day.
- Select one of the following:
- Close availability for all products - This applies to all standard pass products;
- Close availability for a specific product - Select the individual standard pass product the close-off will affect.
- Tick the box to confirm the action and click Confirm.
Once sales are closed, you will no longer be able to accept more bookings for the selected product(s) on the selected date.
Reopening sales
If you have closed sales for a product on a particular day and wish to reopen sales for those product(s) and reaccept bookings then:
- From Venue Manager, click Bookings > Calendar.
- Click on the three-dots on the top right corner of the page and select Close off or re-open day.
- Select the Date you would like to re-open availability.
- Select 'Re-open availability for a specific product' and select the product you would like to reopen for sales;
- Tick the box to confirm the action and click Confirm.
Once sales are reopened, you can begin accepting bookings for those product(s).
