This guide walks through how to search for memberships at POS and how to redeem one or multiple memberships.
When to use
- When any member attends your venue and buys tickets at POS.
- A parent and their children have linked memberships and attend your venue together.
- Multiple members with different membership discounts attend your venue together.
Search for a member
To look up a member’s details at POS, select Search, then choose the Members tab. From here, enter their name or membership ID into the search box.
Redeem a membership
- From POS, select Redeem membership. You can do this before or after you add items to the cart.
- Search the member’s name, email or membership number. Choose them from the list, then select Redeem membership.
- ROLLER adds the member as the booking holder, and applies any discounts they’re eligible for on this transaction.
Redeem multiple related memberships
If a parent signs their children up for a membership, then ROLLER relates the child memberships with the parent’s. This makes it easy for staff to find and redeem each related membership in one transaction.
- From POS, select Redeem membership. You can do this before or after you add items to the cart.
- Search the member’s name, email or membership number. When you choose them from the list, ROLLER displays any related memberships underneath.
- Select the memberships to add, then select Redeem memberships.
Redeem multiple separate memberships
If a group of members attend the same session but don’t have related memberships, you can still redeem them all in the same transaction.
- From POS, select Redeem membership. You can do this before or after you add items to the cart.
- Search the first member’s name, email or membership number, then choose them from the list.
- Use search again to find the second member’s details, then select them from the list.
