You can set and manage which venues have access to editing specific product attributes from your HQ account.
From your HQ Venue Manager, navigate to Venues > Product permissions
From this page, you can see all the managed venues linked to your HQ venue, as well as the editable product attributes within the managed venues that have the potential to be locked down.
If a product attribute is ticked, then that means it is editable within the associated managed venue.
If a product attribute isn’t appearing within this list, then it cannot be locked down within a managed account.
To enable editing of a product attribute by a venue, select the relevant product attribute.
To disable editing of a product attribute, deselect it.
Product attributes explained
Below is a detailed explanation of each product attribute that you can lock down.
Name - The ability to edit the product name or ticket variation names
Description - The ability to edit the short description, long description and product terms and conditions
Image - The ability to edit the thumbnail image within a product and override the thumbnail image within any ticket variations
Cost - Ability to edit the price of a product
Session ticket settings - The ability to edit purchase limits & group ticket settings within tickets for session passes
Stock variations - The ability to edit Qty on hand & PAR level settings on stock variations
Package variations - The ability to edit settings within package variations

Why are product permissions important?
The goal of many HQ venues is to maintain consistency across all their managed venues. Product permissions allow HQ users to do this by locking down the ability to edit certain product attributes.
What does this look like when editing HQ products from a managed venue?
If a product is locked down within a HQ venue, then it will appear grayed out & uneditable within the managed venue.
