When you want to make changes to HQ products that your linked venues are already using, you can do so with bulk product editing from your HQ account. This feature allows you to make changes to HQ products that have been added to an individual venue, a group of venues, or multiple venues at the same time. If your venues are selling the HQ products and variations, the changes are applied immediately.
In this guide, we'll walk through how to edit HQ products using the bulk edit feature in your HQ account, select the venues you want to apply changes to and publish those changes.

Complete the steps below to edit HQ products that have been added to their product list and publish to all your venues, an individual venue or even a group of venues.
- From HQ Venue Manager, go to Products (or Products > Stock if you want to bulk edit stock products).
- Select the product that you want to update.
- Select Bulk edit at the top-right of the HQ product's settings page.
- From the Venues tab, select the venues to apply changes to. Or, select the Tags tab to select one or more tags (venue groups).
- Select Continue.
- Edit product properties such as:
Basic Name, descriptions Image Product thumbnail image Advanced Add-ons, terms and conditions, product instructions - Select the Tickets or Variations tab to edit ticket types or other types of variations:
Item details Name, price, description Image Thumbnail image Sold at venue
This option shows whether or not the selected venues sell the ticket or variation within the product.
- If all the selected venues sell the ticket or variation, the checkbox is ticked.
- If only some of the selected venues sell the ticket or variation, the checkbox shows an indeterminate state.
- If no venues sell the child product or variation, the checkbox is empty.
You can check the box to force all selected venues to sell the ticket or variation.
If the value for a field is different between any of the selected venues, then the bulk edit field shows "mixed". You can click the reset button next to each property to revert back to the master HQ product's value at selected venues.- Select Continue to confirm changes.
- Select the Export option if you want to download a change log after publishing.
- Select Save and Publish.
If the selected venues are selling the HQ product, the changes are applied immediately.
Export product settings for all your venues
You can export a current list of a product’s settings for all or some of your managed venues to a CSV file. The exported file helps you decide which product settings to bulk edit by showing how products differ across selected venues. The export only includes the settings for the product that you can bulk edit across selected venues; it does not include all product settings.
To export a current list of product settings:
- From HQ Venue Manager, go to Products.
- Select the product that you want to change.
- The product settings page opens.
- Select Export at the top right.
- From the Venues tab, select the venues that you want to review. Or, select the Tags tab to select one or more tags (venue groups).
- Click Export to download and review a CSV file.
