- Why don't gross sales match funds received?
- What is the difference between funds received and daily sales?
Gross sales and funds received in ROLLER are distinct and are not interchangeable.
|Gross sales||Total sales without accounting for full payment or any discounts.||Quantity x Price = Gross sales
Example: 10 session passes x $20 each = $200
|Funds received||Actual money received or collected, accounting for discounts, and including taxes and any fees.||Funds received from all payment sources = $386
If you want sales figures, check the Detailed Product Sales report. It shows quantity sold and sales figures a specific time period. You can filter by date, location, device and product.
For reviewing funds received and recognized revenue in ROLLER (accrual method), use the Detailed Product Sales report or the Revenue Recognition report. These reports provide funds received and also include gross and net revenue, which is determined based on ticket redemption or expiry (accrual accounting method).
