Edit party package bookings from Venue Manager and POS

When confirming guest numbers or discussing final details over the phone, you may need to adjust the booking to better meet the guest's needs, such as changing t-shirt sizes, adding more food and drinks, or adding additional items. For in-venue updates, like handling surprise guests at entry, you can make quick adjustments at POS. Follow these steps to ensure all changes are properly updated.

Update the party package booking from Venue Manager

1. From Venue Manager, search for and select the booking.
2. Go to the Order tab to update.
3. Adjust the number of guests attending if per guest pricing has been used for the party package variation, or the number of packages if per package pricing has been used.
   
   
4. Adjust variations for inclusions such as pizzas, drink flavors, type of cake or t-shirt size. (Stock variations are a feature of a Pro plan and above.)
   
   You won't be able to add additional inclusions here, but can add additional items to the booking. See the following step.
   
   
   
   
5. Recommend and add any additional items that the guest may be interested in, based on the conversation. Use the Availabilities tab to search for and add the items to the booking (eg decorations or additional pizzas and drinks).
   
   
6. Save the changes to ensure the booking is updated.

Update the party package booking from POS

1. From POS, search for the party booking with per-guest pricing.
2. Select Edit party for the booking.
   
   
3. If there is more than one party package variation in the booking, select the variation you want to edit from the popup.
4. Increase or decrease the number of guests as needed and allowed by the party package variation configuration.
   
   
5. Update the types of inclusions as needed and allowed by the party package variation configuration. You'll need to decrease one from one type to change to another type.
   
   
   
   
6. You can use Add items in left-side panel to add additional items (eg pizza or drinks) to the booking. 
   
   
7. The booking updates in all areas of ROLLER and your staff can charge the new total based on the changes.
