This article will show you how to add and remove discounts in a booking in Venue Manager.
Add a discount
- From Venue Manager, open the booking you would like to add a discount to. You can create a new booking or Search for an existing booking to add a discount.
- Select the Order tab of the booking.
- Scroll to the bottom of the order page and select Add discount option on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
- Choose the discount type and enter the code or discount amount.
- Select Save to apply the discount.
Discount types
Code | This allows you to use existing discount codes created in the system. Please note these could only apply to certain dates, products and number of uses, as set in the discount code settings. Once you select this option, type in the discount code and click Apply, a green checkmark will appear if it's working and it will calculate the remaining balance |
Amount | This allows you to set an exact amount to discount by. The ROLLER system will calculate the remaining balance accordingly |
Percentage | This allows you to set a percentage between 1 - 100%, setting it as 100% will make the booking complimentary. The ROLLER system will calculate the remaining balance accordingly |
View discounts
Discount(s) applied to the booking will be shown under the Discounts line item. The discount name will be displayed along with the discount amount.
Viewing membership discounts
If the discount applied is a membership discount, the member name will be displayed. Clicking on the member name will open the membership item page to verify the guest.
Remove a discount
- From Venue Manager, find the booking.
- Select the Order tab of the booking
- Scroll to the bottom of the order page and select Add discount option on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
- Select the trash can icon to remove the discount from the booking
