This feature allows you to create a multi pass for X number of visits and a set period of time. For example the pass is valid for 10 uses, 6 months from the purchase date.
Venue type: This is suited for theme parks and attractions
Redemption: Guests can check in on entry and it will count as one use of their multi pass
Tracking: Use the Attendance report to see the number of uses for each pass
If you want to create a multi-pass where customers can book themselves online and your venue manages capacity, please read this article.
Create a standard pass
- From Venue Manager, go to Products > Create product
- Select Standard pass
If you have passes with different number of uses (eg 5 x uses, 10 x uses and 15 x uses), you will need to create a product for each one.
Create the pass ticket type(s). If you have different price points for Adult, Child or Concession, set the price and make sure to include the name, the type and the number of uses for clarity.
Multi-pass for X amount of uses
If the guest can redeem their 10 uses at any time at your venue, follow these steps:
- Specify the days the pass can be used - set it up for which days it can be used (when your venue is open) or you can also limit these to specific days.
We recommend setting this at 100 weeks, please note that this is the maximum number of weeks you can put in and you'll need to adjust this product again in 100 weeks. - Override the text so that your guest will know that the multi-pass is only valid for the set amount of uses
- Check the setting to limit the number of times the pass can be used and set it to 10 (in this example)
Multi-pass for X amount of uses during a specific period of time
If the multi-pass time is only valid for a set period of time, e.g. a special offer for the month or for Summer, follow these steps:
- Specify the days the pass can be used - set it up for which days it can be used (when your venue is open) or you can also limit these to specific days.
- Override the text and add the pass validity e.g This Multi-pass is valid for 10 uses during the month of May or Your Multi-pass is valid for 10 uses for from 1st July to 31st August 2020
- Check the setting to limit the number of times the pass can be used and set it to 10 (in this example)
Multi-pass with an expiry based on purchase date
If you want to create a multi-pass that expires within a set time frame from when you guest has purchased their pass, follow these steps:
- Specify the days the pass can be used - set it up for which days it can be used (when your venue is open) or you can also limit these to specific days. Set this to 100 weeks (the maximum number of weeks you can enter - you'll need to adjust this product again in 100 weeks)
- Override the text so that your guest will know that the Multi-pass is only valid for the set number of uses for x amount of days/years from the date of their purchase
- Check the setting to limit the number of times the pass can be used and set it to 10 (in this example)
- Check the setting to set the valid for x number of days from purchase and set it to the number of days from when the pass expires (365 days for one year in this example)
There is also the option to set your pass validity based on the date of redemption (rather than purchase date).
