Quick start
Get ROLLER Payments running in 5 steps:
- Complete KYC identity verification (2-10 days).
- Order and configure card terminals (if needed).
- Set up online payment methods.
- Test with a card transaction, then refund it.
- Monitor payouts via ROLLER Payments reports.
1. Complete KYC identity verification
Know Your Customer (KYC) identity verification is a security requirement that confirms the identity of all business owners before you can process payments with ROLLER.
What you need to do:
- ROLLER will contact you to initiate your ROLLER Payments KYC application
- From Venue Manager, complete and upload the required identity verification documents for all business owners. Go to Settings > Integrations > ROLLER Payments and select Launch verification. The Adyen verification portal opens from ROLLER in a new browser window.
- Submit your application and wait for approval
Account setup typically takes 2-10 days. Some applications may take longer if additional documentation is needed during the KYC process.
Once your account is approved, you'll receive confirmation from ROLLER.
2. Order and configure card terminals (if needed)
If you accept in-venue payments, order and configure your card terminals.
Follow Choose and order ROLLER Payments terminals to select and order the right terminals for your venue, then use Set up ROLLER Payments terminals to configure them once they arrive.
3. Set up payment methods
Set up the payment methods your venue accepts.
Use Add online payment methods with ROLLER Payments to enable payment options for online checkout and invoices, and refer to Set up ROLLER Payments terminals for in-venue payment configuration.
4. Test your setup
Run a test card transaction through your chosen payment channel (online checkout, Venue Manager or POS) to confirm everything is set up correctly.
After the test transaction succeeds, refund it immediately.
5. Monitor payouts via reports
Monitor your ROLLER Payments and payouts using the Reports section in Venue Manager. Access to these reports requires the Can access Transactions reports permission.
From Venue Manager, go to Reports > Transactions to access reports that track transaction status, payout schedules, and settlement details.

Payouts
Your payout schedule is confirmed when you sign up to ROLLER and can be daily, Tuesday/Friday or weekly.
Use the ROLLER Payments performance dashboard to track pending payouts and the ROLLER Payments Payout Export to see daily settlement details.
Note: It can take 0-2 days after payout initiation for funds to appear in your bank account."
To track payout status and amounts owing from your ROLLER Payments account, use these reports:
- ROLLER Payments performance dashboard. Provides a visual overview of total processed funds, pending settlements, and recent payout initiation dates.
- ROLLER Payments Payout Export. Summarizes daily net processed funds, shows dates of payout initiation for these funds, and outlines the total payouts and outstanding amounts.
Payments fees (ROLLER Payments and network fees)
Payments and network fees are deducted automatically from your daily payouts.
Full details about your specific fees will be provided when you sign your ROLLER Payments contract.

Reserve levels
The reserve is protection if a venue can't fulfil its obligations to its guests or needs to issue refunds after funds have been paid out.
The reserve is to cover for potential refunds, chargebacks and fines, paid but not yet fully delivered products and services, and other potential financial obligations of your business towards ROLLER, acquirers and scheme owners.
When you start to process funds using ROLLER Payments, ROLLER will retain funds up to the applicable variable reserve level from the settled funds that are ready to be paid out to your nominated bank account.

FAQs
Account setup typically takes 2-10 days (KYC verification), then 1-2 weeks for terminals to arrive (if needed). Once you receive your terminals and configure payment methods, you're ready to process payments.
Check your payout schedule and deposit threshold in your order form.

Refunds can be done directly through refunding a booking from Venue Manager or refunding via ROLLER POS.
You can accept a range of card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), digital wallets and other methods depending on your venue setup. See Add online payment methods with ROLLER Payments for a complete list of supported payment methods for online payments.
For adding or removing card payment types for in-venue payments via ROLLER Payments, contact the support team and provide your venue name and payment methods you’d like added or removed.
Transactions will display as "{VENUENAME} - via rllr.co" on guests' bank statements across all payment channels (online checkout, invoices, Self-Serve Kiosk, Venue Manager, and in-venue terminals).
Yes. Guests who pay via online checkout or invoice automatically receive an order confirmation email with transaction details. Printed receipts from in-venue terminals show payment details only (cardholder/merchant); itemized guest receipts must be printed from POS.
