This report is only applicable if you used party package products to sell your parties. It specifically measures guest spending on bundled items such as pizza, soda, cake, or party favors within the party package. It does not include any upsell items or other products guests have purchased.

Access the report
The permission Can access Analytics is required to view dashboards and reports. Administrator and manager system roles have this permission enabled by default.
- From Venue Manager, go to Analytics > Reports.
- Search for and select Ancillary party spend by month.
Interpret the visualization
- The line graph in the report shows the average ancillary spend per party over a series of months.
- The x-axis represents the months, while the y-axis indicates the average spend.
- The trend line provides a visual representation of spending patterns, making it easy to identify any significant changes or trends in ancillary revenue.
The average spend numbers shown in the report show the average revenue made from ancillary spend on party item inclusions, such as pizza, soda or cake, that make up the party package. They do not include upsell items or other products that guests might purchase beyond the party package.
Filter the report
The report comes with pre-set filters that can be customized for a more focused analysis.
- Select Filters at the top left of the report page.
- Review and understand the default filters currently applied.
- Modify the filters using drop-down menus, calendars and entry fields.
- Remove filters by selecting the X to the right of selected items.
- Select Run to update the report with the new filters.
Any changes to filters are temporary and will revert back to default upon reopening the report.

Booking Status | Modify the filters to see results for different booking statuses. The default filters show fully paid and partially paid bookings. |
Min Booking Date | This is the date when the party or event was scheduled. Use the filters to change the timeframe or date range for the report. By default, the report shows results for parties that occurred each month for the past 12 months. |
Parent product name | Choose which party package products to analyze ancillary spend for. By default, all party package products are included. |
