This article is only for gift card only venues. Redemptions for gift card only venues can be managed from Venue Manager unless you're using passcodes or an integration. If you're using other products in conjunction with gift cards, please read this article.
This article explains how gift card only venues can redeem guest gift cards.
Find your gift card
- From Venue Manager, go to Products > All Products.
- Select the gift card product, then select View gift cards.
- From here, a list of all gift cards will be displayed. You can edit which columns you want to display by clicking the settings cog or adjust what order they appear in by dragging them to reorder columns
- Select the Search field and type in a name or gift card number and press the magnifying glass icon or enter button on your keyboard. It will show all records matching what was typed
- Select the options menu (3 dots) for the gift card, then select View gift card from the drop-down menu.
Search using the booking ID
Search for the Booking ID in the global search bar. Select the booking to open it and select the Items tab. From here, select the options menu (3 dots), then select the View item option.
Manage redemptions
For the gift card items tab for the booking, select the item, then select the edit icon (pencil) at the top of the right-side panel.
From here you can edit the balance. Reduce this amount by deducting what the guest has spent from their total balance and input this new amount into that field.
Add a comment if you would like to make a note of what was redeemed against the gift card amount.
Once you're finished, select Save.
