Where can I capture subscribers within ROLLER and Campaign Monitor?
Your guests can opt-in to marketing when purchasing products through ROLLER or while signing a waiver. Make sure that your guest-facing marketing opt-ins are turned on in ROLLER in policy settings.
Opted-in guests can then be synced automatically to your Campaign Monitor lists using segments in ROLLER. You can also capture subscribers directly from Campaign Monitor by creating sign-up forms.
If a guest wants to unsubscribe from my mailing list, where should I manage this from?
Your guests can opt out directly from the email they were sent by clicking on the unsubscribe link.
If an individual has contacted you directly, you can opt them out from Campaign Monitor by:
- Going to Lists & Subscribers within Campaign Monitor
- Finding the list that the guest is looking to unsubscribe from
- Searching their name or email
- Check the box next to their name
- Select move to unsubscribed
- Select Apply
By default, when someone unsubscribes from one of your lists, they are automatically unsubscribed from all of your lists. They also get added to your suppression list, to prevent any further emails being sent to them accidentally.
Can I resubscribe a guest if they accidentally unsubscribe?
Yes, this is possible and can only be done from the Campaign Monitor account. Please read this article for more information.
Why is there no opt-in option on my checkouts or on my waiver page?
If you cannot see this option available, check your account's subscription opt-in settings in Venue Manager.
How can I reduce emails going to spam?
Campaign Monitor recommends authenticating the sending domain to reduce your emails going to spam folders. The following articles on email authentication and deliverability issues will provide more information on how to reduce your emails going to spam folders.
