SSK Settings
1. Navigate to Apps > Self Serve Kiosk > Settings
2. Configure Global Settings:
- Allow customers to purchase tickets with incomplete waivers
- Ask for waiver holder's address
3. Set Welcome page settings
- Upload the background image for portrait or desktop mode - resolution 1080 x 1920
- Button top margin
- Portrait-mode logo position - left, centre or right
- Override welcome screen logo - we recommend on using a transparent PNG
4. Set Standard page settings
- Upload background image
- Background image positioning - centred or tiled
- Override welcome screen logo - we recommend on using a transparent PNG
5. Product
6. Click 'Save' to publish any changes made
SSK Templates
1. Navigate to Apps > Self Serve Kiosk > Templates
2. Click 'Add an SSK template' if there are no existing templates or click 'New SSK template'
3. Set Device configuration:
- Name - make sure this is a unique identifier
- Waivers - will require customers to sign waivers before purchasing tickets
- Success screen instructions - we recommend providing instructions to customers on how to check-in
4. Configure what products and add-ons to sell in the Menu
- Select from the dropdown in the search bar or type in the name of the product or ticket type. A tick symbol will denote the selection, click Apply to add it to the menu. There's a name override option for each product or to remove it from the menu, click the delete icon for the line item
- Mandatory add-ons are items customers are required to have in order to participate at the venue. If the add-on dropdown is empty, please note, you must add it to the menu first before it can be selected
5. Enable Settings for the template:
- Allow guests to redeem gift cards
- Allow guests to apply discount codes
6. Click Save to finalise template creation
SSK Devices
For every physical device that is to be used as a Self Serve Kiosk, a virtual SSK device must be created on ROLLER
Use template
1. The quickest way to create a device is from the templates created. Navigate to Apps > Self Serve Kiosk > Templates
2. Click the more button of the desired template and select 'Create device from template'
3. Give the device a unique name, set whether it is a test mode and its orientation
4. Click Save
Create a device from scratch
We recommend using this option only if there is a unique scenario for the device
1. Navigate to Apps > Self Serve Kiosk > Devices
2. Click 'New SSK device'
3. Set Device configuration, Menu and Settings as per instructions for SSK Templates
There are two additional settings that are not available in Template, as these are a per device setting:
- Test mode
- Orientation: portrait vs desktop mode
4. Click 'Save' to finalise device configuration
Managing Devices
1. Navigate to Apps > Self Serve Kiosk > Devices
2. On the SSK Devices page, it displays the:
- Name
- Waivers enabled (status)
- Template (used)
- Allocated - the staff login, the device was logged in with
3. Similar to POS devices, from here, users can:
- Edit
- Deallocate
- Archive
- Duplicate
- Copy menu items
