Understanding progressive checkouts
ROLLER’s progressive checkouts are online storefronts that allow your guests to purchase your products via their mobile, tablet or desktop device.
Progressive checkouts are quick and convenient to set up in Venue Manager, and you can customize your checkouts to suit your venue’s needs.
There are two types of progressive checkouts:
| Online checkouts | Used to sell your ticket or event passes, memberships, gift cards, party packages, add-ons and merchandise. |
| Food and beverage checkouts | Used to sell your stock products for table-based ordering at your venue. |
ROLLER best practice is to create one online checkout that is specific to selling your passes, memberships, packages and gift cards. As well as offering added functionality like online guest accounts. You can then create one food and beverage checkout per food and beverage location at your venue.
