The daily capacity page provides a real-time overview of guest bookings for a single day, allowing you to view expected arrivals at different times throughout that specific day. You can check upcoming bookings, guest redemptions (check-ins), total resource capacity and available spaces for each resource by booked time slots, one day at a time in Venue Manager.
Why use daily capacity
- Track guest bookings, availability and redemptions to avoid exceeding capacity while optimizing the use of available space.
- See how many people are going to be turning up at different times during the day.
- Easily access guest booking information from each booked time slot.
- Predict peak times and adjust staffing or resources based on real-time guest attendance.
- Monitor how many guests have booked and checked in for an event, activity or party you're running.
Access the daily capacity page
To access the daily capacity page, from Venue Manager, go to Bookings > Daily capacity.
Monitor daily capacity
By default, the daily capacity page shows the number of guests booked into a resource and up-to-date availability for each resource:
- Displays the number of guests (pax) booked into an available time slot and the resource's total capacity (eg 17/20 pax booked).
- Indicates how many spaces are are left for each booked time slot (3 pax available).
You can view upcoming bookings for:
- Multi-booking resources (eg trampoline arenas): Allow multiple bookings at once.
- Single-booking resources (eg private party rooms): Reserved by one group at a time. The booking holder’s name appears on the second line of a resource's booked time slot for easy identification.
Monitor redemptions and availability
Enable the Show redemptions toggle to see the number of tickets redeemed at POS (eg checked-in) for each resource. You'll need to redeem guest tickets at POS for this data to appear.
- See the number of guests who have arrived and redeemed their tickets at POS out of the total of number of guests booked for a time slot (eg 3/3 redeemed).
- Shows how many spaces are remaining (eg 47 available).
Navigate the daily capacity page
- Hover for further details: Hover over booked time slots to see guest bookings and current availability.
- Redemptions display: Shows the number of redeemed admissions tickets when Show redemptions is enabled.

View booking details: Select a booked time slot to view booking information in the right-side panel.
- If there is only one booking for a time slot (eg single-booking resource), the details will automatically show up in the right-side panel.
- For multi-booking resources, you can filter the panel by All bookings, Redeemed or Not redeemed.
- If there is more than one booking, select the booking you want for further details.
- Select View booking to go to the booking for all the booking details.
Color legend for resource availability status
A color legend at the bottom of the page helps you easily see upcoming attendance and availability at booked time slots throughout the day.
- Darker blue: Indicates higher bookings and lower availability, highlighting peak usage.
- Buffer time: Blue diagonal stripes indicate time blocked for cleaning party rooms for party packages (configured in party package settings).
- Blocked: Yellow color signifies resources that staff have intentionally blocked (see below).
- Overbooked: Purple color indicates that bookings exceed capacity (overbooking must be enabled in Venue settings). This helps you identify and manage overbooking scenarios proactively.
Filter and customize views
Use these filters to tailor your view:
Date selector | Choose a specific date (defaults to today) to see bookings and capacity for that day. You can only view one day at a time. |
Resources | Filter by resource to focus on what's relevant. |
Start time and End time | Narrow the view to specific hours, helping you assess peak periods. |
Show availability for (single booking resources) | For single-booking resources, view available time slots for specific products or product groups (eg party packages). |
Additionally, you can expand or minimize sections for multi- or single-booking resources using the arrows next to each resource heading. This helps simplify your view by hiding unnecessary sections.
Save custom view
Save commonly used views for reuse. For example, you could save a view that shows key resources (eg trampolines, party rooms) within a specific time frame (eg 10 AM - 8 PM).

Create a new booking
You can create new bookings directly from the Daily capacity page for single-booking resources:
- Select Show availability for and choose the products you want to book (eg party packages).
- The page shows available and unavailable time slots for resources used by that product (eg party rooms).
- Hover an available time slot for a resource, then select the add button (+). This prompts you to add items and navigate to the booking flow to finalize the booking.
Block capacity of a resource
To block the capacity of a resource:
- Select Block capacity (top right) to open a panel.
- Enter details, then select Save.
Blocked capacity is highlighted yellow. Select the blocked capacity time slot to open a panel which shows:

Reduce capacity by | The amount of capacity reduced |
Edit blocked capacity | Allows you to edit the blocked capacity entry. |
Delete blocked capacity | Deletes the blocked capacity entry. |
You can also manage blocked capacity from Bookings > Blocked capacity.
