With ROLLER, you have the flexibility to delete POS devices from Venue Manager that are no longer in use.
This guide will walk through how to delete a POS device in Venue Manager.
Delete a POS device
Once you delete a POS device, it will be permanently deleted from ROLLER.
To delete a POS device in Venue Manager, follow the steps below.
- From Venue Manager, go to Apps > Point of Sale > Devices.
- Find the device you want to delete, then select the options menu (3 dots) at the end of the row for the device.
- Select Delete from the drop-down menu.
- Confirm you want to delete the POS device, because you cannot restore a POS device once it's been deleted.
If you run into an error when deleting a POS device, this may be because there is another POS device that has been deleted or archived with the same name. To troubleshoot, change the name of the POS device slightly, for example, add the date you're deleting the POS device. This should resolve the issue.
