This guide will show you how to delete a POS device in Venue Manager.
Once you delete a POS device, it will be permanently deleted from ROLLER.
Delete a POS device
To delete a POS device in Venue Manager, follow the steps below.
- From Venue Manager, go to Apps > POS > Devices.
- Find the device you want to delete, select the options menu (3 dots) at the end of the row for the device, and then select Delete from the drop-down menu.
- Confirm you want to delete the POS device because you cannot restore a POS device once it has been deleted.
If you run into an error when deleting a POS device, this may be because there is another POS device that has been deleted or archived with the same name. To troubleshoot, change the name of the POS device slightly, for example, add the date you're deleting the POS device. This should resolve the issue.
