This article shows you how to email receipts to guests from POS.
Emailing receipts from POS helps you save on paper and capture valuable contact information from guests who purchase in venue. You'll then be able to email these guests promotions to encourage a return visit and GX Score surveys to collect guest feedback.
Allow receipts to be emailed to guests
You can enable this feature in your venue's global POS settings:
- From Venue Manager, go to > Apps > POS > Settings.
- Under receipt settings, select Receipts can be emailed from POS.
Email receipts from the booking complete page
Simply process the guest's purchase in POS, then email the receipt to the guest directly from POS:
- From the Booking complete page in POS, click Email a receipt.
- Enter the guest's email address, or select from suggested emails.
- Click Email receipt.
- ROLLER automatically emails your guest a receipt.
Email receipts from the guest bookings page
- From POS, search for and select the booking.
- Select Email receipts from the options menu (three dots) at the bottom of the booking page.
- Enter the guest's email address, or select from suggested emails.
- Click Email receipt.
- ROLLER automatically emails your guest a receipt.
Tips for entering email addresses
- Suggested guest emails can be booking or waiver holder emails.
- The booking holder email always appears first in the suggested email list.
- If the guest paying is not the booking holder, any information stored for the guest from past bookings appears for you to select.
- If guest details are being entered for the first time, you can also add their name and phone number to complete the guest record.
- Once the guest's details are entered, they become the booking holder.
