Capture guest contact information and save on paper by emailing your receipts from POS, for purchases made in venue. The guest emails you capture at POS can then be used to email your guests with promotions, to encourage return visits for example, or send them your GX Score survey if this feature is enabled.
This guide walks through how to email receipts to guests from POS.
Enable receipt email settings for POS
You can enable this feature in your venue's global POS settings. Follow the steps below.
- From Venue Manager, go to > Apps > Point of Sale > Settings.
- Under receipt settings, select Receipts can be emailed from POS.

Email receipts from the booking complete page
First, complete the transaction as you normally would at POS. Then, to email the receipt directly to the guest, follow the steps below.
- From the Booking complete page in POS, select Email receipt(s).
- Enter the guest's email address or select from suggested emails.
- Select Email receipt.
- ROLLER automatically emails the receipt to the guest.
Email receipts from the guest bookings page
To email a receipt from POS for an existing booking, follow the steps below.
- From POS, search for the booking using the Booking name or the Booking ID.
- Select the correct booking from the search results to open the booking details page.
- At the bottom of the page, select the options menu (3 dots). Then select Email receipt.
- Enter the guest's email address, or select from suggested emails.
- Select Email receipt again.
- ROLLER automatically emails the receipt to the guest.
Entering guest email addresses at POS
Below are some tips when you enter guest email addresses at POS.
- The suggested guest emails can be booking or waiver holder emails.
- The booking holder email always appears first in the suggested email list.
- If you're entering the guest's details for the first time, you can also add their name and phone number to complete the guest record.
- Once you've entered the guest's details, they become the booking holder.
