Maintain brand consistency by adding your logos, images and color palettes to your ROLLER venue settings. Consistent brand and appearance settings are important because they create a cohesive and memorable identity for your guests.
Adding your brand logo, images and colors to Venue Manager makes sure that your guest-facing ROLLER products and features match your brand, such as email templates, printed and digital tickets, checkouts and more!
In this guide, we’ll walk through how you can set the default guest-facing design assets, including logos, background images and colors. You can then preview what these look like from the actual feature's configuration page in Venue Manager.
Logo image design tips
To ensure optimal visibility and compatibility across all ROLLER guest-facing pages, consider the following recommendations when preparing your files:
- Use a transparent PNG format for logos.
- Avoid using a white logo or header image with pages that have white backgrounds.
Read on for more specific guidelines for each image type.
Brand assets
You can add your default brand assets and colors to your venue settings in Venue Manager. These brand assets include your default logo and background image.
- From Venue Manager, go to Settings > Design > Brand & appearance.
- Then upload your image files at the recommended file size and dimensions to the right place.
Default logo
The default logo is used in the following places:
- Email templates (including invoice email)
- PDF tickets
- Waiver kiosk
- Digital wallet memberships and passes
- Progressive checkouts
You may find that the default logo does not display well in the above applications because of the background color or page orientation. For example, a white logo will not be very visible on a white background, or a tall logo will not fit very well in a letterbox-shaped space.
Use a transparent PNG and crop the logo to a maximum width of 640 pixels, otherwise your logo may appear cropped when viewed on mobile devices. It doesn't matter what the height of the logo is, as that will be dictated by the dimensions of the logo.
Need to know
- Image should be 640 pixels wide
- Acceptable file formats: JPG and PNG
- Must be less than 1 MB
Select Upload file and then select the logo file from your computer. Finally, select Save (or Discard to remove changes).
